After more than 31 consecutive years of activity in the field of queen production, specializing in the breeds of the Caucasian and Cecropia Queens, Melissokomia Kritis has managed to be considered one of the largest queen bee breeding units in Europe. The story begins in 1989, when Lefteris Maragoudakis first came in contact with the Caucasian queen, whose qualities and performances strongly piqued his interest, thus making him deal more extensively with her. Lefteris Maragoudakis throughout his career in the field of beekeeping and queen bee breeding, in addition to the Caucasian breed, also uses that of Cecropia. It is the local tribe that we find in most areas throughout Greece.
